I’m coining the name LoFo to mean “Low Fidelity Photography”; the kind of photography popularized by specialty analog cameras such as the Lomo Kompakt Automat, which started the ‘lomographic’ movement in 1991.

I love the finality and unique quality of the analog speciality cameras. I also like the convenience of digital photography. I found working with the iPhone and the right app to be the best of both worlds. It encourages spontaneity, odd angles, and taking photos anywhere, while minimizing considerations of formal technique—the ‘Golden Rules’ of lomography.
